Scheduling
It'll take 10 days to set up your book for printing and it'll
be delivered 5-10 days after that. This means that from the moment we send
your file across, it'll take a maximum of 20 days before that book's in the
hands of your customer.
We'll set the files up on our Eastbourne server and a give you a UK sample
to approve. Once you have done this, we'll upload the file to our FTP site
ready for collection by BNB.
Orders
These are sent via our Eastbourne print-on-demand factory, they
are batched then emailed and at the same time files for new titles are located
and uploaded.
BNB will send us a weekly progress report to confirm delivery etc.
Invoicing and costs
BNB invoice us each month for payment within 30 days in dollars. We'll then invoice you for payment within 30 days in sterling.
You'll pay £35 for every new title we send to BNB. For every book they print, we'll charge you the same as we would in the UK, plus 75p. This small addition is to offset the price differences and exchange fluctuations.
Each month we'll review these costs just in case the exchange rates have moved dramatically. Should the price need to change - up or down - we'll let you know in writing.
Delivery
BNB will deliver your books to your customer by UPS ground service. The cost is dependent on the weight of the book and where it is to be sent. A good rule of thumb to work by is that a paperback will cost between £2.50 and £3.75, a hardback between £3.75 and £4.50.
Bulk deliveries to a warehouse or distributors cost between £35 and £50 for each pallet (or skid as they're known in the US ).
Materials
Wherever possible your book's cover and paper will be the same weight, volume and shade as that used by Antony Rowe. The quality will also be a close match.
